Skilled Nursing Center
Located across Conway Road, the St.
John's Mercy Skilled Nursing Center provides round-the-clock long-term
skilled nursing care and a rehabilitation team of physical, speech and occupational

Home Health Services
St. John's
Mercy
Home Care provides intermittent skilled nursing and therapies in a patient's
home. Services include nursing, physical, speech and occupational therapies.
Medical social workers and home health aides can provide services in the home
as well. St. John's Mercy Home Care offers specially trained nurses in the areas
of orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, intravenous therapy and wound care. St. John's Mercy Home Care is a Missouri state-licensed, Medicare-certified and JCAHO-accredited
home health agency. Services are provided in the following areas: St. Louis
City and County and the counties of Jefferson, Franklin, St. Charles, Lincoln,

Home Infusion Therapy
Often patients are discharged to their homes with intravenous therapy ordered
by their physician for treatments including antibiotic therapy, pain management,
total parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy and hydration. St.

Infusion Therapy offers specially trained home health nurses and pharmacists

Private Duty Services
Care coordinators can help you arrange Private Duty Services, which allow patients
to recover or stay at home with the professional help they need. Registered
nurses, licensed practical nurses, home health aides and companion sitters
provide coordinated care. Specialized services are offered for patients
with ventilators, dressing changes, intravenous therapy and enteral feedings,
and pediatric care for children with catastrophic illnesses. Services are offered
in four-hour blocks of time up to 24-hours-a-day care. Adult and pediatric
care is provided. Many patients utilize the bath service to assist with their

Hospice Care
St. John's
Mercy
Hospice provides supportive care for the physical, emotional and spiritual
needs of patients with a terminal illness. Hospice is a philosophy, based upon
the belief that people with advanced illness can live and die among friends
and family in familiar surroundings. A team of nurses, social workers, home
health aides, and volunteers provide care for the patient and family members.
Family support and bereavement services are an integral part of the hospice
experience. Expert pain management and symptom control allow patients to live
as fully as possible, remaining alert with minimal pain so that their last
days may be spent with dignity at home or in a homelike setting. For details,

David C. Pratt Cancer Center
The
David C. Pratt Cancer Center is an accredited outpatient diagnostic and treatment
facility located on the campus of St. John's Mercy Medical Center in west St.
Louis County. Designed specifically for cancer patients and their families,
the Cancer Center brings together technology, highly skilled physicians, and
a community of support, all in a comfortable, healing environment. The
Cancer Center offers a full spectrum of cancer care, including diagnostic imaging
services, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, PET/CT imaging, infusion therapy,
clinical research, physician offices, supportive therapies, education and screening
resources, and the John F. Krey III Cancer Information Center.
We believe that knowledge is a powerful tool in preventing and fighting cancer. In
our extensive library of information at the John F. Krey III Cancer Information
Center, patients and their families can find the answers they need to make
decisions and to cope with cancer. Our experienced staff of health professionals
can help patients understand cancer risks and prevention methods, as well as
navigate the health care system, formulate questions to ask their doctors,

Kidney Dialysis
The Medical Center participates in the outpatient Affiliated

Pharmacy
For your convenience, St.
John's Mercy
Pharmacy offers outpatient prescription
services for patients requiring medication when leaving the Medical Center.
Prescriptions also may be delivered to the patient's room prior to discharge.
The pharmacy stocks hard-to-find medications for easier accessibility and accepts
most insurance prescription cards. St. John's Mercy Pharmacy is located on

Department of Fertility Care Services
An introductory session in the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System
is followed by private sessions, where couples learn to interpret the natural
changes of a woman's body to avoid or achieve pregnancy. Fertility

Chemical Dependency/Psychiatric Services
Behavioral
Health at St. John's Mercy offers a wide range of services for individuals
experiencing psychiatric, alcohol and drug abuse problems. Outpatient and inpatient
services are available for adults, adolescents and children. Outpatient services
are provided at St. John's Mercy Behavioral Health-Edgewood, 970 Executive
Parkway, in Creve Coeur. To schedule a confidential assessment, call St. John's
Mercy Intake Department's 24-hour help line at 314-251-6565. Patients will
receive an additional copy of patient rights and responsibilities specific
to Behavioral Health Services upon admission.
Community Nutrition Services
The Community Nutrition Services Office is located at 12680 Olive Street Road,
Suite 10. Registered and licensed dietitians offer clinical counseling
for diabetes management, weight management, heart-healthy nutrition,
sports nutrition, gestational diabetes management, preconception and prenatal
nutrition, infant, pediatric and adolescent nutrition, geriatric nutrition,
eating disorders, nutrition management related to cancer therapy, HIV therapy,

The Heart Hospital also houses a new Emergency department, part of St. Louis
County’s only Level I trauma center, adult emergency services and a new Pediatric
Emergency department.
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation is a multidimensional program for patients
with pulmonary or cardiovascular disease. Staff members including registered
nurses,
respiratory therapists and exercise physiologists offer education and exercise
counseling and evaluation. The purpose is to aid the individual's medical
treatment and to affect long-term, positive changes in behavior and lifestyle.
The ultimate
goal of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is for the individual to achieve and
maintain his or her optimum physical and emotional health. Ideally, this
process begins while the patient is in the hospital and continues into an
outpatient

Rehabilitation Services
St. John's Mercy offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation
services for people following a disabling injury or condition. St. John's
Mercy Rehabilitation Center provides inpatient treatment for individuals
with strokes,
brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and a variety of neuromuscular and
musculoskeletal disorders. St. John's Mercy Sports and Therapy provides a
broad spectrum of
outpatient services. Our highly trained staff offers comprehensive consultation,
evaluation, testing and individualized therapy for many conditions and injuries.
Our team works closely with physicians to provide a rehabilitation program
to fit an individual's needs. St. John's Mercy Sports and Therapy provides

Mercy Rehabilitation Center will open in Chesterfield. It will house all

St. John's Mercy Center for New Health Options
The St.
John's Mercy Center for New Health Options (CNHO), 1176 Town and Country
Commons in Chesterfield, offers a range of holistic health services, treatment
for chronic pain, and advanced imaging technology. Offering many services
under a single roof provides patients with ease of access and a "one-stop shopping" health
care option.
The CNHO's holistic health services include acupuncture, auriculotherapy
(for smoking cessation), chiropractic services, massage therapy, music therapy,
nutritional counseling, physical therapy and wellness classes. Pilates, yoga,
tai chi and massage classes are offered throughout the week.
Imaging services available at the CNHO include ultrasound, bone density,
mammography, CT and MRI. The CNHO is one of the few facilities in St. Louis
offering cardiac
scoring, a newly developed, non-invasive test for measuring coronary artery
calcium content. This exam aids in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease.
The Center for New Health Options also provides holistic support programs
for cancer patients at the David C. Pratt Cancer Center at St. John's Mercy
Medical
Center. These services include acupuncture, lymphedema, massage therapy,
physical therapy, speech therapy, urinary incontinence services and wellness
classes.

Urgent Care Centers
St.
John's Mercy has two Urgent Care Centers in St. Peters and O'Fallon, MO.
These Urgent Care Centers provide prompt
medical treatment if you do not have a physician or if your illness or injury
cannot
wait until
you
can see your physician. Professionals associated with St. John's Mercy staff
the center. St. John's Mercy Urgent Care Centers are open seven days a week,
8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and limited hours on the holidays. The centers have on-site

St. John's

Our experienced surgeons and nursing staff have a singular focus - healing

Child Development Center
The St.
John's Mercy Child Development Center in Creve Coeur provides multidisciplinary
diagnostic and treatment programs for infants and children with neurologic
and developmental delays, as well as orthopedic conditions. Services include
