St. John’s Mercy's Cardiovascular Research Department features dedicated personnel who participate in numerous investigator initiated, NIH and industry-sponsored studies. The independently-funded studies investigate ways of advancing treatments for acute coronary syndrome, acute myocardial infarction, antithrombotics and stroke prevention, among others.
