Acupuncture
Acupuncture can help relieve low back pain, neck pain, arthritis, headaches, nausea related to chemotherapy and pregnancy, asthma and other conditions. This Chinese therapeutic technique involves the use of hair-thin disposable needles on specific points throughout the body. View more information.

Auriculotherapy
Auriculotherapy can help relieve low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, dry mouth, nausea and other conditions. It also has proven very effective for smoking cessation. Auriculotherapy is a painless technique that involves electrical stimulation of acupuncture points in the ear. View more information.

Chiropractic
Chiropractic can be beneficial for back pain, neck pain, soft-tissue cervical spine injuries (whiplash), headaches and many other conditions. It involves the assessment and manipulation of the body’s spinal/extremity function, joint motion and soft-tissues. View more information.

Guided Imagery
Imagery is the natural language of the unconscious, and it can be used to support the healing process. Guided imagery puts you in touch with your internal imagery and teaches you to interact with it in a meaningful way. Imagery tapes also are available. Television channels 20 and 21 are available to patients 24 hours a day and offer self guided imagery.

Healing Touch
Healing touch enhances the body’s energy field to help support its natural ability to heal. It can be beneficial in reducing stress, calming anxiety, decreasing pain,
strengthening the immune system, enhancing recovery from surgery, deepening spiritual connections, supporting care and easing acute or chronic conditions.

Lymphedema Therapy
Lymphedema involves manual therapy, compression bandaging, exercise and patient education to help control edema – a condition that can result from surgical removal of the lymph nodes, trauma, radiation or scarring. Services are provided by licensed physical therapists certified in lymphedema. View more information.

Massage Therapy
Licensed therapists provide individual massage therapy that promotes both healing and relaxation. Therapists are trained in a variety of soft-tissue techniques.

Nutritional Counseling
Registered dietitians provide nutrition education and counseling for a variety of needs, such as diabetes management, heart-healthy diets, weight management or management of eating disorders. The latest findings in nutrition research are combined with individualized care.

Physical Therapy
Physical therapy can be used for pain management, increasing range of motion and improving overall functional ability. Services are provided by licensed physical therapists and physical therapy assistants. Services provided by licensed physical therapist and physical therapy assistants who have specialized training in manual therapy to include trigger point, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, scar tissue release and lymphatics.
