John’s Mercy Sports & Therapy
Outpatient
therapy is often used for patients recovering from surgery, illness or
injury. Patients are referred to our programs through several sources.
Whether recently discharged from the hospital, recovering from outpatient surgery,
transitioning from inpatient to outpatient therapy, referred from a primary
care physician or dealing with chronic disability, St. John’s Mercy Sports
& Therapy provides many services to meet the needs of a vast and diverse
population.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY
PROGRAM
- Physical Therapy to
improve strength, range of motion, functional mobility, and to decrease
pain.
- Occupational Therapy to
improve strength and range of motion, including training for skills needed
to complete activities of daily living.
- Speech Therapy for
those with speech or articulation difficulties or problems with language,
memory or cognition.
