St. John’s Mercy Hospital Presents
Diabetes Education Series Event

St. John’s Mercy Hospital’s Diabetes and Wellness Center is presenting a special Diabetes Education Series event, “How to Improve the Quality of Your Life,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, in Classroom A of the Mercy Medical Building, 851 E. Fifth Street in Washington. This event is free and open to the public. Spouses and family members are welcome to attend.

New technology to help diabetics will be the focus of the evening. Representatives of Medtronic/Minimed, Sanofi-Aventis and LifeScan will discuss the latest insulin, glucose meters, insulin pumps, and other technology to help identify and treat persistent difficulties with blood sugar control. They will be available to demonstrate and answer questions from the audience. They will also provide educational materials, in addition to discount coupons from the products presented.
