Typical Volunteer Opportunities in Washington

  • Greet visitors and patient families
  • Greet patients in the Emergency Department
  • Greet and assist in registering patients for surgery or lab tests
  • Work in the gift shop
  • Clerical work that could include filing, answering phones, preparing charts, stocking linens, data entry and other responsibilities
  • Assist families with Medicare issues
  • Assist families with Medicaid applications in the McAuley Clinic
