F.I.T. CLUB For Women Offered by
St. John’s Mercy Heart and Vascular Hospital
St. John’s Mercy Heart and Vascular Hospital is offering F.I.T. CLUB (Females in Training), a new way to help you start moving, get fit and stay active for life by preparing for a 5K/10K walk or run. The ten-week program is on Thursdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. beginning on August 20 at Preservation/Cadet Park in Town and Country. The training will culminate with participation in the Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run/Walk on October 24 in Chesterfield.
Women of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to join. F.I.T. CLUB is offered by PULSE, St. John’s Mercy’s Heart and Vascular Program for women, and led by St. John’s Mercy health care professionals. It is a great way to get fit and join other women who share this common goal – and help find serious fitness buddies to work out with between sessions. Learn about fitness do’s and don’ts, workout gear, injury prevention, heart health and more, with lots of support along the way. The program fee is $35, which includes Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run entry fee and t-shirt and visor.
